Reflecting our track record in genealogy tourism developments we were commissioned by the national tourism training agency Tourist Board Training to develop and deliver a pilot one day genealogy tourism training course. Pilot areas were Orkney, Scottish Borders, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

Our new two day Tourism Marketing Planning Workshop ran successfully in Orkney, Caithness and Sutherland this year. Participants found the mix of theory and practice beneficial and left the workshop with the basis of a plan for their own business.

Our one day Tourism and IT course has run for three years with participants ranging from complete novices to more sophisticated computer users exploring issues such as e-business.

Ideas for future courses include one provisionally titled The DIY Designer, the aim being to share Seabridge’s professional design expertise with a tourism business audience.
