ORCADIA CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS
Seabridge was engaged to develop a corporate image, including assisting with
the choice of name for the new partnership. The corporate image is inspired
by a carved stone from St Magnus Cathedral and is used throughout Orcadia’s
stationery and advertising, both as a logo and as a watermark.
STANDING STONES HOTEL
Review and analysis of the hotel’s market and marketing activities.
Preparation of a report with recommendations for action. Seabridge was then
engaged to undertake a comprehensive re-branding exercise involving the following

PENTLAND FERRIES
Analysis and preparation of a market analysis study demonstrating the continued
potential of the proposed ferry service. Seabridge was subsequently engaged
to produce marketing material including -

- A range of administrative print items such as purchase order books and receipt books

DUNBEATH PRESERVATION TRUST
Commissioned by Dunbeath Preservation Trust and funded by Caithness Enterprise,
preparation of a 5 year development strategy for the Trust, and a marketing
plan in respect of the refurbished Dunbeath Heritage Centre.
WESTRAY BUILDINGS PRESERVATION TRUST
Analysis and preparation of a Feasibility Study, examining development opportunities
and setting out a five-year programme of action. Now in production a Limited
Edition 160 page book on the buildings of Westray.

BEARD AND CORNALL
Beard and Cornall supply an extensive range of internal and external phenolic
and polyester panels and are the major suppliers of train fronts in the
UK, together with driver's cab interiors, passenger compartment interiors,
skirts, toilet cubicles, equipment covers etc.
SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF BUTE
Feasibility study examining the establishment of a genealogy service to be
co-located within the Winter Gardens Tourist Information and Orientation
Centre.
BIS
GEOS HOSTEL
Preparation of a marketing plan in respect of the Bis Geos hostel and self
catering units, Westray. Seabridge was then engaged to produce marketing
material including -

RM COMPUTING SERVICES
Analysis of business issues facing the enlarged business and preparation
of a report with recommendations for action. Seabridge then continued to
provide support and advice as required.
LEWIS’S MEDICAL SUPPLIES
Lewis’s is Britain’s fourth largest supplier of first aid and
medical goods to industry. Peter Needham has been involved with the company
for the past sixteen years, creating their corporate image and packaging
from bandage wrappers to first aid leaflets and sticking plaster boxes. A
new 72 page full colour catalogue is now in production.

SOUTHPORT AND SOUTHEND AIRSHOWS
The programmes for these two airshows are produced entirely from Orkney,
with photographs from our aircraft library and copy written in-house. Experience
has proven that A5 is the most convenient size for a programme of this
sort.

LOCHABER CENTRE FOR TOURISM EXCELLENCE
Creation of corporate images in respect of the Lochaber Centre for Tourism
Excellence, the Scotland’s Warmest Welcomes scheme and the Scottish
Tourism Ambassadors scheme.

ORKNEY
COLLEGE
Review of College administration and financial management requirements and
processes. Definition of a new administration service organisation structure.
Production of the first Orkney College prospectus to accompany the opening of the new College building. Seabridge has also produced promotional leaflets in respect of several courses.
SOUTH RONALDSAY TOURISM BUSINESSES
Working with a consortium of tourism businesses, design and production of
a promotional display panel to be installed on board a ferry.
CLEATON HOUSE HOTEL
Design of tri-lingual brochure, annual Christmas card illustrations, advertising
and web site (www.cleatonhouse.co.uk).
Re-design of company stationery.

AYRE HOTEL
Re-design of company stationery, brochures, exclusive hotel satellite map
of Orkney, advertising and posters.

SCOTTISH TOURIST BOARD / VISIT SCOTLAND
Seabridge is leading the specification of a genealogy tourism web site for
Scotland, www.ancestralscotland.com, part of the implementation of the
New Strategy for Scottish Tourism. Activities involved in this ongoing
project include -

- Benchmarking study of tourism and genealogy web sites
- Preparation of specification for web site
- Development of a links strategy
- Preparation and delivery of presentations
Through this and several related projects, Seabridge has developed unique experience in genealogy tourism and has been engaged by Travel Manitoba, a Canadian tourism agency, to provide.
